Escape the Orange Frenzy: Celebrate King's Day at Camping de Wulp!

This coming Saturday, we celebrate the birthday of King Willem Alexander in the Netherlands. There's an event or festival on every street corner. If you want to escape the orange frenzy in the village or the city, then Camping de Wulp is the place to be. Get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy a relaxing day at our campsite or in our brasserie. Especially this week, Brasserie 't Wulpje has a special bagel on the menu; the Bagel with two croquettes and sauce of your choice! It doesn't get any more Dutch than this! In addition, during this 'King's Week', we also serve the Passion Royale Spritz. It's the sister of the famous Aperol Spritz, but with Passimoncello.
If you're still looking for a fun activity on King's Day while staying at the campsite, you can, for example, head to the center of Noordwijk. Here, you can enjoy a lively atmosphere while browsing through stalls and maybe finding a unique souvenir.
The program in Noordwijk is as follows:
- 10:00 am: Aubade in Noordwijk aan Zee.
- 10:30 am: Start of children's activities, including a children's flea market, various performances, and shows on the Grent.
- From 1:00 pm: King's Day parties at various cafes on the Grent and other locations in Noordwijk.
- From 2:00 pm: Keuningsdag on the Grent.
