Handy to know

The booking process

The booking process is as follows; you can make a booking request online. After this, we will assess the booking and may accept or reject it. Reasons why your booking may be refused include who is in your travel party  (we do not accept groups and/or adolescents) or the type of camping equipment (whether it fits on the selected pitch). Indeed, some pitches are only intended for motorhomes, others for tents only. If your booking is accepted, you will automatically receive a booking confirmation. After payment of the deposit, the pitch is reserved for you.

Car-free campsite

The campsite is car-free, which means that cars are parked outside the camping fields. This contributes to peace and safety on the campsite and helps us preserve our green turf. On arrival, you don't have to worry about placing your caravan or trailer tent. From 14.00 onwards, we will gladly place your camping equipment on the pitch.

If you have a caravan or trailer tent, you can only leave during reception area opening hours. The car remains at the front of the car park. Even if you come camping with a tent. We have handy trolleys for your luggage.

Check-in

You can access your pitch from 14.00. If you have a caravan or folding trailer, you can unhitch your camping

equipment on arrival and we will gladly place it on the pitch. We have handy trolleys for your luggage. You can also use them if you come with a tent.

Check-out

On the day of departure, you can check-out until 12.00. The pitch must then be vacated, but you can still use the facilities.

Want to extend your stay or leave after noon? Stop by the reception area and we will look at the possibilities. If you leave after noon, you can leave your camping equipment on the pitch and you will be charged for this day.

If you have a caravan or trailer tent, you can only leave during reception area opening hours.

Cancellation

Suddenly can’t make it? We apply the following cancellation scale. In the event of cancellation, the holiday maker pays a fee to Camping de Wulp. This amounts to:

  • Cancellation fees apply depending on the time of cancellation.
  • If cancelled more than 28 days before the arrival date, 50% will be charged.
  • If cancelled within 28 days of the arrival date, 100% will be charged.

The fee will be refunded proportionally, after deduction of administration costs.

We advise you to take out your own travel insurance so that you are covered for unforeseen circumstances and situations.

Electricity euro plug

You will need a CEE blue euro plug to connect your own electric cable to our power box. If you do not have a euro plug, you can rent one from us while stocks last.

Amperage

Depending on the type of pitch (comfort or standard), you can use electrical appliances up to a maximum of 10A = 2200 or 6A = 1320Watt respectively at the same time.

Cable TV

To receive broadcasts via our Cable TV, a DIGITAL TV with built-in DVB-C tuner is necessary. So no separate boxes are needed at the reception area. With another analogue or digital TV with only a DVB-T or DVB-S tuner built-in, you cannot  receive Cable TV. As for electricity, you will need your own coax with antenna plugs. male/female.
