Our story

Camping de Wulp is a true family business founded by Adriaan and Lenie van den Burg in 1968. It was the first business on the Kraaierslaan to transform their bulb nursery into a campsite.

More than 25 years ago, the campsite was passed from father to son. During that time, I, Paul, the fourth son, together with my wife Ela, took over the campsite and it is clear that everything involved in running a campsite has been ingrained in me from an early age. Since I was a child, I have been working at the campsite and I still gladly serve all our guests every day. Our niece Magda works with us at the reception and office, and now our children Amanda, Natasja, and Thomas also contribute their part. In short, a business where the whole family rolls up their sleeves.

What makes Camping de Wulp special and unique is the authenticity it has maintained all these years. In addition, the campsite always has a beautiful and, above all, green lawn. The lawn is also cared for and maintained with great attention. That is why we have consciously chosen a low-traffic campsite, which not only guarantees the quality of the lawn but is, of course, also very nice and safe for playing children and peaceful on the site. Upon arrival at the campsite, we will bring your caravan or folding trailer to your spot with the tractor. A lovely tradition that we have been continuing for over 50 years now!
